Back in June we learned the exciting news that actor Neil Patrick Harris signed on to star in a new Broadway production of the smash off-Broadway show (turned indie cult classic film) Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Today we get our first look at NPH as Hedwig as the first promo poster for the show has been released. Neil posted a teaser photo from the poster photoshoot about 2 weeks ago on his official Instagram profile and debuted the poster itself on his official Twitter profile. I love both of these images. They are great teases for what’s to come. Even tho we still don’t know what NPH will look like wearing Hedwig‘s iconic wig, these teaser images are a great way to tide us over until that reveal is made as the show’s debut draws closer. This new production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch will open on Broadway next Spring so we still have some time to wait. As you can see above, NPH promises that tickets for the show will be available soon. What do you think of this first look at Neil as Hedwig?
